When the insane Dr. Gero activated the malignant androids, the earth stood no fighting chance against them. Son Goku, the most powerful fighter of Earth, had fallen ill to a fatal virus. Without his help, the rest of the z-team was eliminated in the fight without a chance, one by one. From this, the earth plunged into a deep darkness of nothing but death and despair. However, there is a hope!Son Gohan, the son of Goku, is now a man and is able to make the transformation into a Super Saiyan. While he's still not quite strong enough to take out the androids himself, he has been training a special young boy to aid him. His name is Trunks, the son of Bulma and Vegeta. Krillin and Piccolo try to help Goku, but their combined powers are no match for Garlic Junior, who creates a "Dead Zone" to suck the heroes into oblivion! Suddenly, Goku begins to show his hidden power, but will it be enough?!

Thanks to the Dragon Balls and his dedicated assistant Dr. Kochin, the evil Dr. Wheelo has been freed from his icy tomb. The end of the world is fast approaching, in the form of a giant asteroid on a collision course with Earth. But not if Goku has anything to say about it! Goku and Krillin race to the rescue. A dark vessel descends from the surface of the asteroid, carrying a powerful new enemy, the evil overlord, Lord Slug. The Z Warriors discover an unopenable music box and are told to open it with the dragon balls. The contents turn out to be a warrior named Tapion who had sealed himself inside along with a monster called Hildegarn. Goku must now perfect a new technique to defeat the evil monster. |
